Hobscotch is a graphic design site, a network, a blog, a baby, an outlet and a love. It's something I do with my spare time, or time that I'd rather be spending on the internets.
History...
I started hobscotch in early 2008. I had been waiting for some time to buy my own hosting/domain. I decided on hobscotch because... its seemed right... The name pretty much epitomizes what I'm all about, especially with my design; fun, lightheartedness and being a little kiddish.
Before Hobscotch.net I owned VelocitySkies @ unknown-entity.org Which I adored, it sounds silly but I didn't really want to let it go...
I needed to change my style though, I was starting to get stuck in a layout site rut and wanted to branch out properly. I was ready to move on with my site and so VelocitySkies became Hobscotch and I set about totally refreshing the way I made graphics and what exactly I made. Signatures went, my thousands of avatars went, my layouts went, a lot of content was just abandoned and I started more or less afresh, a lot of it is just sitting in my D: drive still, just out of reluctancy to completely say goodbye to VS.
New site, new layout, new content and a new take on what I've always loved doing. Enjoy!
